Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Tuesday’s episode (28 October), which is available to watch now on streaming service Channel 4 and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
Hollyoaks has revealed two game-changing secrets about Froggy Black, and it confirms his links to two other characters in the village. We’ve recently learned more about Froggy’s past, as it was his scary threat that forced Donny Clark (previously Mick Johnson) to fake his death and start a new life.
With Misbah and Vicky having discovered his former identity, this week Donny was tempted to leave the village with Clare, who is currently hiding from the police.
Gemma had a proper meeting with Misbah and Vicky and explained that while she was still angry for his deceit, she didn’t want to let him go after thinking he was dead for all these years.
Meanwhile, Donny agreed to leave with Clare and gave her a fake police ID, accepting that his loved ones deserve better than him.

He spotted Froggy in the village and confronted him, wanting to find out how he knows Warren and why he was going after Gemma.
Gemma saw them talking and raged at Donny for trying to leave again, and he eventually decided to stay in the village.
Donny introduced Froggy to Gemma, explaining that he’d had an affair with Froggy’s wife and she ended up dead, so he faked his death to protect his family.

But in a surprising twist, it turns out that Froggy and Gemma already know each other, and it was Froggy who gave the orders for the staged robbery that Donny was caught up in.
Froggy encouraged Gemma to return to Liverpool, not wanting Donny to discover their business enterprise. However, Gemma was keen to stick around, teasing that she had planned to rip her dad’s heart in two.
There was another twist to come, when Froggy later arranged a meet up in The Loft with Sully, one of the gangsters who carried out the heist. It was revealed that Sully isn’t just working for Froggy – he is his son.
