Hollyoaks has unveiled the full details of its upcoming crossover with Brookside as Donny Clark makes a mysterious visit to a famous address where he receives a cold welcome from a very familiar face.
Announced back in August, Hollyoaks revealed that it would be marking its 30th anniversary by bringing back Brookside for a special crossover episode.
Next week's 30th anniversary celebrations kick off with Tony and Diane’s wedding as villain Clare attempts to flee the village, having planned to wreck the wedding with serial killer Jez.
Picking up in the aftermath of the wedding drama, the Brookside episode, which airs on Wednesday, 22 October, sees Sue Johnston reprise her role as Sheila Grant alongside her The Royle Family co-star Ricky Tomlinson, who is set to reprise his role as Bobby Grant.
In Hollyoaks village, Detective Donny and his team are left to deal with the fallout of master criminal Clare’s unthinkable plan to destroy Tony and Diane's wedding and the chaos that has been left in her wake.
