Hollyoaks has lined up some fresh turmoil for Lucas Hay and Dillon Ray following this week's dramatic death reveal in which Dillon finally came clean about who really shot DI Banks. With recent events coming between the young couple, it's unclear how they will move forward in their relationship.
This week, Lucas' boyfriend Dillon was abducted by villain Clare Devine along with Frankie Osbourne and Vicky Grant as part of Clare's revenge plot after one of the teens killed her evil husband DI Banks.
After Frankie managed to text Lucas, Lucas enlisted the help of Rex and Grace for a rescue mission. While Grace distracted Clare, Rex threatened Clare with a gun and the teens escaped in the car with Lucas.
Following the rescue, Dillon finally told Lucas that it was him who shot Banks, according to the police report, and Lucas made it clear that no one else could find out the truth.

In recent months, Lucas and Dillon faced further issues in their relationship after Dillon secretly confessed to Lucas’ dad Ste that he has feelings for him. Ste rejected Dillon’s advances and Lucas is unaware of the situation.
While all of this has been going on, Lucas has been subjecting his dad to violent attacks, which inadvertently led to Ste being held hostage by Jez for the last few weeks alongside Sienna.
After being kidnapped by Jez, Ste’s life was in serious danger, but this week he was rescued and taken to hospital and it remains to be seen what his relationship with Lucas will look like now.

In scenes set to air next week, Lucas and Dillon's relationship is tested and the pair are at loggerheads. Where do the young couple go from recent events?
"To say it’s been a testing time for Dillon and Lucas would be an understatement," says our insider.
"The young couple have faced obstacle after obstacle, and they find themselves at odds once again next week. Is Dillon in more danger from Clare, will Lucas’ violent behaviour continue – and does Dillon still have feelings for Ste?"
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
