Hollyoaks has confirmed the seventh cast member of Hollyoaks Later, which will see a "dark" new storyline for Dodger Savage.
The soap announced the return of its sinister spin-off series earlier this year, as part of its upcoming 30th anniversary. The dramatic one-off episode will air in October and will feature a host of new and returning cast members.
Among those appearing on the special is fan-favourite character Dodger (played by Danny Mac), who recently returned to the main show after a decade away.
Teasing his explosive storyline on Hollyoaks Later, Mac revealed that detective Dodger will play a "massive" role on the episode, which will feature a plethora of twists and turns.

"It's incredibly moving, and it takes some of the characters, including mine, to a place that no one is ever going to expect," he told us here at Inside Soap.
"Later makes you feel like there was no other way to tell this story. It's not just a party, a celebration of 30 years or a good excuse to make something that looks pretty – It's horrific, it's dark, and every single beat is fully justified. The best word I can use is Later feels inevitable!"

Mac joins previously announced castmates Kieron Richardson (Ste Hay), Isabelle Smith (Frankie Osborne) and Louis Emerick (Donny Clark), who will all be making an appearance on the spin-off.
Meanwhile, Jamie Lomas will be reprising his role as Warren Fox for the special episode, alongside Jorgie Porter (Theresa McQueen) who stepped away from the soap last year to begin her maternity leave.
Hollyoaks will also be welcoming former Coronation Street star Tisha Merry as new series regular Gemma. Gemma, who is linked to Warren, will first arrive on Hollyoaks Later before becoming part of the main show.

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
