Hollyoaks has revealed a worrying update about Ste Hay, as his and Sienna Blake’s kidnap ordeal continues next week.
Sienna is currently being held hostage in the Love Boat by her evil dad Jez, with the rest of the village believing her to be dead.
Meanwhile, in this week’s episodes, Ste was faced with serious danger when his son Lucas’ abusive behaviour escalated to a new level.
When Lucas began threatening his dad with a wrench during a confrontation, Ste ran outside – and bumped into Sienna, who had managed to escape the boat.

Ste was stunned to see his friend alive, but was also terrified for his life, so he took Sienna back to the Love Boat to hide from Lucas, unaware that she’d just escaped from there.
Jez arrived back, and Ste eventually realised that Sienna was in trouble. He tried to attack Jez, but the serial killer was one step ahead and knocked him out cold.
With Sienna and Ste both now chained up, Jez refused to let them go – and told Sienna that she would be forced to kill her dear friend.

Next week, Leela and Lucas grow increasingly worried by Ste’s disappearance, especially when he doesn’t return home in time for baby James’ birthday.
In the boat, Sienna makes it clear that she won’t hurt Ste. In return, Jez tells him that Sienna is also a murderer, explaining that she killed Ethan last year and also helped to hide Dilly’s body.
With Jez out the room, Sienna desperately tries to get Ste to trust her, promising that she’ll never hurt him. Thankfully he believes her, and the pair begin looking for a way out.

Figuring that their best bet is to attract the attention of passers by outside, Sienna and Ste make as much noise as possible, but sadly this is no use.
The friends wonder about each of their families, and this chat makes them both more determined than ever to get back to their loved ones.
But there’s a big problem: Ste begins to look unwell and is running dangerously low on his medication.
Will Sienna and Ste manage to escape, and will they both get out alive?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
