Jez and John Paul's wedding day arrives, but the big occasion requires Jez to tie up some loose ends – whatever the cost. What dark plan does he have in mind now?
John Paul continues to wrestle with his doubts over the wedding, but his family try to support him.
When Jez next sees John Paul, he begs for another chance. Shortly afterwards, as everyone gathers in the village for the wedding, Jez is relieved when John Paul turns up.
Meanwhile, Tony asks Diane for another chance to make their relationship work. Diane is wary of making the wrong decision, especially with the children to think about, so she suggests taking things slowly. The pair decide to kick things off with a romantic picnic.
