Darren plans a memorial for Freddie, still wrongly believing that his brother is dead.
At the same time, Clare confronts Robbie at the hospital with a terrible ultimatum – she wants him to kill Grace, or she'll kill him. Vicky begs Robbie to run away with her, revealing the stash of money she has.
Ahead of the memorial, Darren reveals that the police have ended their search for Freddie. Robbie's PTSD resurfaces during the emotional events, but Vicky supports him. Robbie soon sends Clare a message, confirming that he'll agree to her deadly plan.
Grace prepares a birthday surprise for Clare and hopes to reconnect with her, but Clare prepares a shocking gift of her own. Clare gives Robbie a gun, as well as the keys to Grace's flat.
Grace finds Robbie armed and ready at the flat, but has he underestimated her?
