Darren and Nancy realise that Frankie is in danger, so they try to get some answers from Rex. A text message gives them the location they need, but the Osbornes make the mistake of trusting the wrong person in the police. This sets the gears in motion for a last-minute operation clear-out.
DI Banks makes plans to escape with his wife and Victoria as soon as possible, but not before destroying all evidence and disposing of workers.
Diane gets suspicious over what Banks is up to, so she follows him to the manor house.
Darren arrives at Fernmere and accepts help from Kat. He's led upstairs to a hidden room, where the reality of Frankie's situation dawns on him. Darren covers up Frankie and vows to get her out, but the severity of their situation is clear.
Meanwhile, Donny, Rex and Dodger unite to make a plan to save the hostages. The teens and Robbie desperately try to escape from the basement and they bump into Darren and Frankie. When DI Banks' cronies arrive, a fight breaks out and Darren and Robbie bravely attack the gang members. Sadly, Darren's fate is left uncertain.

Elsewhere, Grace tries to remove all evidence that she was involved. She secures Banks' contacts to take over his operation and also manages to convince a reluctant Rex to come along.
Also today, Lucas has another seizure at the hospital, but the procedure is still going ahead today.
