Jacob knows what's in store for Frankie, so he suggests that she should go back home and make amends with Darren. Grace overhears this and is desperate to keep her plan on track, so she offers to go with Frankie.
The situation between Frankie and Darren seems to improve when they talk, but they're interrupted by a message to say that Oscar has a hospital appointment.
Darren is desperate not to lose this chance with Frankie, so he asks her to wait and Grace offers to stay with her. Once alone, Grace and Frankie bond over their vulnerabilities. Will Grace manage to manipulate Frankie?
Later, DI Banks warns Grace that important clients will be visiting, so she'll need to host a party. Grace invites Frankie and Dillon to attend, promising Frankie that she'll be the guest of honour.
Meanwhile, Rex promises Ste that they can make a fresh start together, but Rex is hiding his bloodied knuckles.
