Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Wednesday's episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn't air on E4 until Thursday.

Hollyoaks' JJ Osborne has collapsed as the horrific abuse storyline against his sister Frankie continues.

In tonight's (July 17) streaming episode, Darren confronted JJ after finding out the boy had thrown his bloodied football boots in the pond after attacking Frankie with them. JJ panicked, fearing that his dad may have discovered he'd been sexually abusing Frankie and blackmailing her to stay silent.

JJ then threatened Oscar, convinced he'd been spilling the beans about the abuse to Darren.

While Darren was right to be concerned about his son, he didn't know the true reason. The father-son duo got to The Dog, where Darren intended to introduce the teen to a football coach after assuming he got rid of the boots because he wasn't having much success with football.

Promising JJ's football career was far from over, Darren encouraged his son to talk to coach Andy, who promptly offered him a place on the team.

Elated, JJ was able to relax around his dad, but things took a turn when Nancy arrived at the pub and announced Oscar had dropped "a bit of a bombshell".

"He wants to move in with me, to Cindy's," she announced, worried about Oscar being "in a bad place".

Back at home, JJ remained alone with Frankie. He told her he'd go on the summer tour with the football team and promised they'd be reunited soon.

Later on, the pressure built up for JJ, who collapsed in the kitchen. Though Frankie immediately reached for her phone to call 999, in a twist, she hung up, leaving her twin brother and abuser on the floor.
