Hollyoaks' Cindy Cunningham will be devastated next week after making a disappointing discovery about her potential new flame Dave Chen-Williams.
In upcoming scenes, Dave delivers a package to Cindy and she invites him in to watch some TV with her.
However, Cindy stops herself when she finds she's getting closer to Dave and begins to question if her feelings for him are genuine or merely impulses.

Cindy eventually confides in Diane, who takes matters into her own hands and sends a text to Dave from Cindy's phone inviting him over for lunch.

The set-up is successful as Cindy and Dave grow closer on their lunch date, and Cindy even asks him if he'd like to stay for dessert.
However, things soon go downhill when a strip club card falls from Dave's wallet and Cindy, who doesn't want to compete with young strippers for Dave's attention, asks him to leave.

Ella, concerned for Cindy and not wanting to leave her by herself, summons Diane, who reminds Cindy that her late fiancé Luke would want her to be happy.
Meanwhile, Dave confides in his son Sam and admits that he might have blown things with Cindy.
But, following some much-needed support from Sam, Dave reaches out to Cindy by referencing her favourite movie, Dirty Dancing.
Will the two be able to work things out and pursue their romance?
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
