Hollyoaks' Warren Fox demands to know the truth about Felix Westwood's injuries

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks' Felix Westwood continues to go down a dark path in tonight's (July 12) first-look episode, as he lies about the bruises he received previously.

Felix is struggling to cope with DeMarcus' move to America, and has turned to bare-knuckle boxing as a twisted coping mechanism.

The latest episode saw Mercedes McQueen question her partner over where he got his injuries from, but he refused to explain, snapping back at her.

"Your constant pestering can drive any man mad. No wonder you drive guys away," he shouted.

Mercedes went to confront Hunter, who admitted that he was goaded into hitting Felix, but it was the one time, which Prince backed him up on. Whatever happened to Felix to get him in that bad a shape, it happened afterwards.

Mercedes then went back to Felix, who then tried to make out that it happened during an altercation with his arch-frenemy Warren Fox.

When Mercedes went to question Warren, he went along with the story that she was presented.

"We were sparring and it just got out of hand. It won't happen again," he said, although Mercedes still didn't believe him.

Later, at the garage, Warren saw Felix handing money to a mysterious man and decided to do some questioning of his own.

"Those bruises on your face, that bloke you've just given an envelope to... Whatever you're involved in must be pretty serious. But I'm your brother, and I'm not gonna hang you out to dry. But if you want me to keep covering for you, you need to tell me where you got those bruises from."

Will he come clean?

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
