Hollyoaks star Theo Graham has explained why his character Hunter McQueen sleeps with Olivia Bradshaw after his return to the village.
The Channel 4 soap announced a shock Christmas storyline this week, confirming that Hunter and Olivia will spend the night together.
The betrayal takes place on the week that Olivia is due to marry Hunter's twin brother Prince. Hunter has arrived back in Hollyoaks to attend the wedding.
In an interview with Inside Soap, Theo explained that Hunter is completely unaware of Olivia's identity when he sleeps with her. Olivia deliberately withholds the truth from Hunter in her latest scheme.

Theo said: "We were joking the other day how it's funny that he's never even seen a photo of Olivia.
"We do mention that Hunter came off social media, yet there's still messaging and FaceTime – but it turns out Hunter has never seen her."
He continued: "Olivia tells him straight after – I'm not sure if she feels guilty or if she's being Olivia.
"If he knew who she was, he obviously wouldn't have gone anywhere near her, so it is a bit unfortunate what happens!"

Hunter is then left in a difficult situation on Prince's wedding day, wondering whether to expose the truth or not.
Theo added: "Hunter is really conflicted over doing the right thing, but not wanting to hurt his brother.
"The audience will see on the wedding day that he does contemplate it a few times, and there are a few opportunities for him to tell Prince."
Digital Spy exclusively revealed Theo's return as Hunter in October.
Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
