Off screen since that eventful autumn stunt week, where murderer Silas Blissett finally met his end, it's been confirmed that Jennifer Metcalfe's character will make her way back from Spain in next week's episodes.

Nervously awaiting her relative, Goldie McQueen's mind is all over the place, but when she decides to dig through the late Sylver McQueen's stuff, she makes a stunning discovery.

Armed and ready with this brand-new information, Goldie doesn't get the opportunity to share with the McQueens what she's found, because upon arriving home, Mercedes comes clean to the family about what she's been sweeping under the rug.

Going out the other door is Lucas Hay actor William Hall, who announced his exit from Hollyoaks a number of weeks ago.

"Wow it's been an amazing 9 years playing this character and not one moment has been bad," the youngster wrote next to a collection of behind-the-scenes photos.

"Honestly, I am so happy to be able to say I have been part of the Hollyoaks family and although it is sad I'm leaving, I'm leaving with happy memories. Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years, it means a lot.

"Can't wait to see what the future brings and to share it with you!"

Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
