Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks has revealed a shocking new secret about Tony Hutchinson, which could have implications for his entire family and political career.

In tonight's (October 21) episode, Tony was greeted by a mysterious bouquet of flowers. He told Diane the sender didn't leave a note attached.

However, his wife wasn't convinced by Tony's claim that he didn't know the identity of the sender. "Why would someone go through the effort and expense of sending flowers but forget to put who they're from?" she questioned.

Later on, her suspicions grew as Tony rushed off to take a call, confiding in Dave Williams that she believed her husband to be having an affair.

Discovering that a note was attached to the flowers after all, Diane opened it and was led to believe the sender was an admirer of Tony's.

"Tony lied to me, he said that the card was blank... Guarding his phone, making excuses to not want to be here," she said. "But who is she?"

Convinced by the note that her husband was having an affair, she chose to ignore Dave's advice, instead planning on tracking Tony in hopes of catching him in the act.

But are things really as they seem?

Later on, a worried Tony headed to the park to confront the sender, only to be greeted by newcomer Beau.

Beau told Tony he'd researched him, before dropping the bombshell that he's actually his secret son. "You bought my mum lilies on a holiday romance about 25 years ago," he said.

"Well, I'm 25 and I'm your son."

How will Tony react to the bombshell news?
