Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks' stunt-filled carnival week is upon us, and while the return of serial killer Silas Blissett and his final confrontation with the McQueen family is the major storyline here (resulting in at least one death), we've also got a showdown between Warren Fox and Norma Crow.
Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, Jamie Lomas, who plays Warren, teased a dramatic clash between the two characters, hinting at some "big" and "emotional" moments.
"Something serious happens to Warren and Norma – all I can say is that it's going to leave people going, 'Oooooooh!'," he said.

"But it's about what happens after that, too. It's like a snowball gathering pace. There's a big revelation, and it's crunch time for Warren. It's really emotional stuff."
What to Read Next
The confrontation between Warren and Norma comes after Warren finds out about Norma's plans for Joel.
"It's all right for Warren to harm Joel, but he won't let anyone else do it!" Lomas added. "Warren hears that someone has made a funeral order of service with Joel's name on – and when he discovers it was Norma, it all comes to a head. He's going to kill her!

"I love it, and I love working with Glynis [Barber, who plays Norma]. We have such good chemistry on screen as well. Has Warren met his match in Norma? I think so, but he doesn't care – he's scared of nobody.
"But he does care about his kids, and I think that's why people relate to him. Maybe that's why I've never won Best Villain before, because people go, 'Oh, he's not that bad! He's killed seven people, but he loves his family'. He's a nice villain!"
Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
Selected omnibus episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video.
