Hollyoaks unveiled a surprise cameo for soap fans in tonight’s (August 23) first-look episode as EastEnders star Indira Joshi made an appearance as Nadira's hilarious but loveable Nan.
Eagle-eyed soap fans will recognise Joshi, who played Masood's aunt Mariam on EastEnders. Mariam was a fan favourite when she debuted on the soap in 2018.
In tonight's episode, Nadira and Juliet tried to stop Peri revealing their affair to Shaq, but to no avail.

"Wait, is this about you two? Because if it is, I already know, Juliet. I get it you've got a thing for Nadira but she doesn't feel the same way," said Shaq, who refused to accept it.

A dumbfounded Peri shouted at Nadira: "You're too scared to come out, that's fine, that's your choice, but are you really gonna drag these two down with you?"
"It's true, me and Juliet have been together and I think I love her,'' Nadira revealed to a tearful Shaq.
Despite the affair, Nadira insisted that she wanted to marry her "best friend" Shaq as a heartbroken Juliet watched on.

"Don't get married, we have something real," exclaimed Juliet as she tried to block the pair from their wedding day.
"I'm sorry Juliet, we're done," Nadira said.
They insisted the wedding would go ahead as it was right for their families, but during the ceremony the bride and groom both came to the realisation that they loved other people.
"I can't do this. I'm sorry everyone, me and Nadira, we can't get married," revealed Shaq to their shocked guests.
As Nadira's Nan stood up and insisted on knowing the reason why, Juliet announced to the gathering: "Because Nadira's in love with me."
Meanwhile, Sid caught Joseph sneaking out of the Chen-Williams' house after spending the night with Serena.
Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
