Hollyoaks' Juliet Nightingale made a painful decision on tonight's E4 first-look episode (Tuesday, July 26) as she ended her engagement to Peri Lomax.
Juliet has been struggling with her feelings for Nadira, with the pair becoming intimate over the past few weeks.
While Juliet is engaged to Peri, Nadira is also engaged to Shaq, with their wedding just a month away and the couple deep in the final stages of planning.

On Monday's episode, Sid Sumner got a shock when he walked in on Juliet and Nadira kissing. The next morning, Juliet tried to explain to him that she never meant to hurt Peri but she has real feelings for Nadira.

Later, Nadira and Juliet met in secret. Nadira tried to brush off their kiss as a mistake because she loves Shaq, but Juliet was having none of it.
Juliet told Nadira that, unlike her and Shaq, they have passion. Juliet then kissed her before Nadira pushed her away and left.
When Nadira later arrived at the food tasting for her wedding, Shaq surprised her with her favourite treat, which reminded her of how much history they have together.
Meanwhile, Juilet had made her mind up and decided she had to tell Peri they were over. She told Sid that even if there was no future for her and Nadira, the fact that she feels this way about someone else means she has to end things with Peri.
At home, Juliet told Peri they had to break up, saying they'd been arguing too much recently.
While Peri protested that they were just stressed, Juliet told her she was her first love and for that she is grateful, but she's just not in love with her anymore.

Hollyoaks now streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
