Hollyoaks has aired a twist for Ripley Lennox as they shared their plans to leave the village.
In tonight's (July 14) episode, a pensive Ripley (Ki Griffin) was seen as they were going through pictures of their ex partner Brooke Hathaway (Tylan Grant) before deleting them.
When their flatmate Grace Black (Tamara Wall) got back home, Ripley opened up to her about their intentions to leave their life in Chester behind.

"I wanted you to hear it from me. I'm leaving Chester," Ripley told their flatmate.

"What about Brooke and your stall?" a surprised Grace replied, but Ripley assured her that they and Brooke "are done".
"And as far as the stall goes, I can set that up anywhere," they added.

Grace then asked Ripley where they're headed next, but it looks like they haven't made their mind up yet, nor have they mentioned telling Brooke.
"Not sure yet, but the world's a big place and I reckon it's time I explored it," they said.
Have we seen the last of Ripley? This doesn't seem to be the case as a spokesperson told Digital Spy that Ripley will be a "returning character", but did not provide further details.
However, as the character seems set on moving out of the village, we should expect to see them less in upcoming episodes.
Hollyoaks now streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4. Selected omnibus episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video.
