Hollyoaks' Gabriel Clarke announced recently that he was leaving the soap, with his final scenes as Ollie Morgan set to air this week.
We've already seen that Ollie has been considering going to Canada for a new job, and the funeral of his father Luke will be a big factor in his ultimate decision, but now the actor has spoken more about the storyline to Inside Soap.
"It's been a real roller coaster emotionally for Ollie, but he is being very mature," Gabriel said. "I was expecting him to potentially be tempted back to drugs again. But instead, he makes a lot of really mature decisions that his dad would have been proud of...

"(Arranging a funeral) is made complicated when that person has dementia. So Luke ended up agreeing several different funeral plans with Cindy, Zara, Tony and Ollie – and they have to compromise in the most soapy way possible...

If that wasn't enough drama, Ollie's mother also turns up and there's going to be tension between herself and Cindy, with Ollie caught up in the middle.
"When they told me that Ollie's mum would be coming back for his dad's funeral, I had an idea in my head of what I thought it would be like; and no-one is going to be disappointed," Gabriel added.

"There's a lovely symmetry" to Ollie exiting by going to Canada, following his father who went there so many years ago to become a football coach.
"I'll always think about where Ollie's journey might take him. But for now, it's goodbye from him."
Hollyoaks now streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4. Selected omnibus episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video.
