Hollyoaks newcomer Emily Burnett has teased some friction amongst the McQueen clan when Prince's fiancée Olivia shows up.
In conversation with Inside Soap, the actress was asked how her character's introduction to Prince's mum Goldie McQueen goes.
"Well, Olivia doesn't give a very good first impression – some of the things Olivia says are not nice. So she does butt heads with Goldie quite a lot, they seem to have a love-hate relationship.

"Ultimately, Goldie sees Olivia as someone who's taking away her son – so to win Goldie over, Olivia needs to earn her respect," she further noted.

Despite a bit of an awkward start, Olivia is still keen to develop a close bond with the McQueens for the sake of her relationship.
"She does want to make a good first impression and get on with them all. But at the same time, there's a limit to how much Olivia will bend over backwards."
Look out for the fireworks in that case.

Meanwhile, Burnett also went on to speak about her "amazing" experience on the soap and praised her co-stars.
"In short, [it's been] amazing! I feel as if I've been here for so long already. They're honestly the most fun group of people I've worked with – especially Chelsee [Healey, who plays Goldie] and Malique [Thompson-Dwyer, aka Prince].
"Now I'm just looking forward to seeing it all on screen!"
