Hollyoaks' Martine and Celeste were left stunned tonight (April 20) as they finally discovered the truth about Felix's past.
In tonight's opening scenes, Felix asked Mitchell to find out why Martine was suddenly giving him the cold-shoulder after their date the day before.
After learning that Martine thought he was speaking to another woman on the phone, Felix tried to rectify things with his old flame, telling her that he actually has another son, and that's who he was speaking to. But Martine was left furious by the thought of him running off and starting another family.

However, as it was later revealed, there was a bigger reason for Felix running away, one that also saw him shockingly sell Celeste and Toby as babies.
In the episode's closing scene, Felix confronted Walter about what really happened, stating that he was coming back for Martine and that he needed to sell Celeste and Toby so they could afford to start a life together. However, he was driven away by Walter. While dropping this major bombshell, Felix and Walter were completely unaware that Martine and Celeste could hear everything.

"We agreed to keep the past in the past," said Walter, to which Felix replied: "Yeah, that was before Martine turned on me. She said I ruined her life because I walked out, but I didn't walk out, did I?
"I was a scared 17-year-old, just like Martine, but I was coming back for her."
"After you sold Toby and Celeste for £50,000," said Walter.
Felix hit back: "You knew how badly I needed that money so Martine and I could start a new life, but you drove me away.
"You're the person who broke her heart and left Mitchell to grow up without a father. You're no saint, old man. You're a coward."
How will Walter be able to explain himself to Martine when she inevitably confronts him? And we're guessing Toby and Celeste aren't going to be too happy about being sold as babies either.
Hollyoaks airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
