Juliet Quinn has been forced to turn her back on the Nightingale family in Hollyoaks.

Monday's E4 first-look episode concluded with Marnie Nightingale (Lysette Anthony) discovering Juliet's (Niamh Blackshaw) backpack full of pilfered cash, following Juliet and Sid's (Billy Price) drug job at the seaside.

In Tuesday's (April 14) episode, Marnie and James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) rushed to the judgement that Sid must have been to blame for influencing Juliet — when, in reality, it was the opposite.

When the Nightingales marched Juliet over to the Lomaxes to confront Sid right in front of his dealer cousin Jordan Price (Connor Calland), the teen made up a lie that she'd sold some stolen laptops to cover for Sid.

Marnie remained suspicious over the excuse, leading Jordan to warn Juliet that she'd have to shut Marnie up before he was forced to do it for her.

Now put in an impossible situation, Juliet realised she had no choice but to alienate Marnie in order to save her life, so she burned Marnie's most prized possession — Nathan's shirt.

While Marnie threw Juliet out of the house after the teen ranted that she hated her, Juliet felt relief that she'd actually managed to save Marnie's life.

Juliet had no choice but to go round to the Lomaxes to ask if she could move in — which is exactly what Jordan had wanted all along in order to keep her under his thumb.
