Hollyoaks spoilers for Tuesday, April 7's first-look episode.
Hollyoaks has hinted at the future romance for Juliet Quinn and Peri Lomax.
The New Year flash-forward special recently revealed that Juliet and Peri will have fallen in love with one another by the time the holiday season rolls around. In the current timeline, Juliet (Niamh Blackshaw) has recently become fascinated with the older Peri (Ruby O'Donnell) while still dating Sid (Billy Price).
In Tuesday's first-look episode, Peri's boyfriend Jordan Price (Connor Calland) agreed to send Juliet and Sid on a romantic getaway to the seaside… so long as they took care of a drug deal for him while there.
Juliet was growing more conflicted about her true feelings for Sid, so she threatened that she wouldn't be going along for the supposedly-romantic trip.
Master-manipulator Jordan pumped up the pressure on his little cousin by sending out Sid to sell some drugs on his own, with Sid botching up the job.

Meanwhile, Juliet ran into Peri — and was pleasantly surprised to learn that Peri had a same-sex relationship with Harley in the past.
"I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable or anything," Peri told her, with Juliet assuring her: "Don't worry, you didn't!"
Juliet was even more pleased when Peri admitted that her relationship with Jordan was "definitely short-term", but added that "you can't help who you fall for".
"About Jordan, you can probably do a lot better," Juliet insisted.
Juliet's hopeful outlook was short-lived once she heard about Sid's botched drug deal, as it forced her to go along with the seaside trip out of fear for Sid's safety… with one caveat.
"I don't want a boyfriend," she explained.
Jordan relished that setting up Sid put his plan back into action. In terms of where Peri and Juliet's romance will go this year, Niamh Blackshaw recently said that she is excited to be able to explore another layer for her character.
"Anything you do as an actor is exciting and I love working with Ruby, so it's definitely not a bad thing," she said.
"I knew a few months before the flashforward episode. I didn't know it was going to be in the flashforward episode, but I knew that it would be happening.
"Both me and Ruby are straight girls, but I have gay, lesbian and bi friends. It's not a difference really, it's just another way of living and another preference.
"It's not a big deal at all. It's great to represent the LGBTQ+ community."
Hollyoaks airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm. Wednesdays through Fridays on E4 will feature classic episodes called Hollyoaks Favourites to compensate for the soap suspending filming.
