Brooke Hathaway has delivered her baby in harrowing Hollyoaks scenes.
Wednesday's first-look episode (February 19) centred around the teen in the grips of an all-night labour, as her boyfriend Ollie Morgan (Aedan Duckworth) rushed to her side at the hospital.
"We're really here," she realised.
Ollie was forced to go alone when his dad Luke (Gary Lucy) suddenly made up excuses why he couldn't come along — hiding that he had his own crucial medical check-up for his own FTD Pick's disease.
At Luke's appointment, he learned that his condition had not actually deteriorated yet as he'd feared, but his disease was actually genetic.
The doctor explained that Luke's children and grandchildren have a 50% chance of developing FTD Pick's disease.

This news rocked Luke, especially since he'd recently promised Ollie that he would raise his son and Brooke's baby with Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring).
There was little time for Luke to process what he'd been told, since he had to rush up the maternity unit to wait for news about Brooke and Ollie's child.
In the delivery room, Ollie finally arrived by Brooke's side as she was able to deliver a healthy baby boy!
Later in a quiet moment, Brooke privately shared her true feelings for the baby before handing it over to Kyle.
"You're already someone's missing piece," she gently said. "There are already two people waiting to give you a home.
"You're very beautiful. I'm glad I made you."
Ollie was out in the hallway, where he overheard his dad and Luke discussing the medical appointment from earlier — and pointedly asked his dad if he was dying.
Luke was forced to explain his condition, admitting: "It's terminal… It's progressing slowly. I could have five years, maybe more."
"Can we still keep [the baby]?" Ollie eventually asked, with Darren stepping in: "Listen, your dad isn't well.
"He's not going to be able to help you, and raising a kid is one of the hardest things you'll ever have to do."
Darren finally made both Luke and Ollie understand that it wouldn't be possible for them to raise the newborn child as they'd hoped.
After explaining to Brooke that he wouldn't be able to keep the baby, Ollie had his own poignant moment with his newborn son by leaving him with a pair of football booties.
"I'm sorry that I'll never know you mate," he admitted. "I want you to know that me and mum love you so very much, and we love each other.
"That's where you came from. We made you with love."

This storyline will continue this week when Talia Grant's real parents, former Fame Academy judges Carrie and David Grant, cameo as the couple adopting Brooke and Ollie's child.
