Hollyoaks viewers think there is much more than meets the eye with married couple Toby and Celeste Faroe.
The scheming couple recently arrived in the village armed with the secret that Toby (Bobby Gordon) is Mitchell's (Imran Adams) long-lost twin brother, intent on getting revenge on all of the Deverauxs.
This week, Toby and Celeste have successfully managed to fracture the Deverauxs by outing Mitchell to his family, while Celeste (Andrea Ali) identified Lisa Loveday (Rachel Adedeji) as their next target in a scene that is now drawing attention from fans.
"We've done what we needed to do. We've broken them apart," Celeste explained. "Now, while they're all obsessing over golden boy's scandal, we go after the weakest one. Find out what we need."
Then, the 'married couple' were shown saying goodnight to one another as they walked into separate bedrooms. Is that the sleeping arrangement for most married couples?
Fans have started speculating that Toby and Celeste might not be a couple at all, and are actually twins who Martine (Kéllé Bryan) gave up before Mitchell was ever born.

One viewer pointed out: "I’m starting to think that both celeste AND toby are the twins in the photo and they were born before martine had mitchell but she gave them up.. why else would celeste be so set on revenge if she isn't really toby’s wife.."
Regardless of the twins theory, viewers are definitely thinking Celeste and Toby are somehow related:
Toby actor Bobby Gordon did recently confirm that Toby and Celeste's storyline will ultimately become something "no one's seen yet in soaps".
"I think it touches on how vital the presence of a parent is for a child. It's something that will make people think about their own decisions too," he hinted to Inside Soap.
Hollyoaks airs Mondays through Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
