The only thing separating Tony Hutchinson's Hollyoaks storyline from a Saw movie right now is the lack of sinister clown puppet Billy.
With serial killer Breda McQueen taking on the mantle of Jigsaw in this case (stay with us), she's currently keeping Tony captive at her old family pig farm, while his devastated wife and kids have been left to believe that he's jumped ship and started a romance with a new woman.
But although Breda promised not to finish him off after stabbing him at the folly, Tony's future was left hanging in the balance after tonight's (September 3) episode.

In the episode, Breda returned to the pen where she's been keeping Tony and ruminated on her tricky position.
"Is this hell?" Tony asked her.

"More like Limbo," Breda replied.
But although Breda admitted that she didn't want to kill him, she didn't trust that Tony would keep quiet about all of her other murders.
"Quite a conundrum," Breda continued. "You're not a scoundrel like Harry. He abandoned his own child so he had to die. But you, you're a fine father [...] I can't have you exposing my work, leaving all those little kiddies at the mercy of failing fathers."
But in the episode's closing scenes, Breda produced a framed Hutchinson family photo to show to her captive, as she told him that God had spoken to her and showed her how to make the situation as "painless for him as possible", all the while Tony begged for his life.
"I want this to feel as much like home as possible. The home that you love," Breda told him. "Because you're going to be here forever."
Does this ominous cliffhanger spell trouble for Tony's future? Even though Breda has made sure that his family won't come looking for him, surely *someone* has find him sooner or later?
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
