Mercedes McQueen has made a huge decision about her marriage in Hollyoaks.
Earlier this week, Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) made plans to run away with Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) after being rejected by her young son Bobby Costello (Jayden Fox).
But just as she was about to skip town, Bobby revealed that he'd known about the affair all along and had been threatened to keep quiet with some money by Liam.
"I'm never, ever going to leave you again," she assured her son. "There is no-one on this planet more important than you. Least of all, Liam Donovan."
In Tuesday's (August 27) first-look episode, Mercedes angrily confronted Liam for daring to manipulate her son. When he defended his actions, she ripped up the plane ticket and made their future clear.
"I am never going anywhere with you," she told him. "It's over… Sylver is the man that I love. You're just the guy I thought I deserved."

Back at home, Mercedes reunited with Bobby and a clueless Sylver (David Tag) to promise that she'd be closer than ever with them going forward.
"I've taken you both for granted and I've come and gone out of your lives as I've pleased," she admitted. "Not anymore. I love you so much, and I'm never gonna leave. I promise."
But is Liam prepared to let her go so easily?
Hollyoaks airs Mondays through Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
