Hollyoaks' Mercedes McQueen may be happily throwing caution to the wind over her affair with Liam Donovan at the moment, but her secret is in danger of being exposed once again after her son Bobby caught her and Liam kissing.
Nana McQueen already came close to catching Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) cheating on Sylver (David Tag) this week, while Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) briefly realised what she's up to as well, before being thrown off the track again.
Next week, after taking more risks to be with Liam (Jude Monk McGowan), Mercedes is left devastated after she realises her behaviour has had a huge impact on son Bobby.
What she doesn't know, however, is that Bobby actually caught Mercedes and Liam kissing, which spurs Liam into damage control mode as he decides against telling Mercedes that Bobby knows about them.
As Liam attempts to win Bobby around by buying him an ice cream, he also tries to confuse the youngster by convincing him that he misunderstood what happened between Liam and Mercedes.
But Bobby isn't easily swayed and realises that Liam is lying, prompting Bobby to decide to tell Sylver what he saw.
