Whenever Hollyoaks stages a McQueen wedding, viewers know to expect plenty of drama (and maybe an explosion or a murder or two), so the soap is gearing up for new levels of chaos next week with a double McQueen wedding.
But as Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) and Sylver (David Tag), and Myra (Nicole Barber-Lane) and Sally (Annie Wallace) all prepare to tie the knot, actress Jennifer Metcalfe has now warned that the day will go terribly for one couple – we just don't know which one yet.
"Well, it's another McQueen double wedding. One of them goes smoothly and is bliss – the other one is totally horrific," Jennifer told Inside Soap. "But which one is Myra's and which one is Mercedes'?
"You'll just have to wait and see!"

Both couples' futures are in jeopardy in the build-up to the ceremony, as Myra worries that her cheating secret could be exposed, while Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) decides to blackmail Mercedes over Sylver's recent attack on him and tells her to jilt Sylver at the altar.

This leaves Mercedes with a bit of a dilemma, as she knows there's a real danger that Sylver could go back to prison if Liam follows through with his threats to report him to the police.
"Liam's tormenting Mercedes, getting her to do all these things for him – it's a power trip, really," Jennifer added.
"Anyone else she'd just tell to get lost, but she knows Liam could send Sylver to prison, so she just has to obey him. It's a case of how far he'll go to ruin the wedding..."
But at least one thing we can guarantee is that Mercedes will absolutely not feel upstaged by her mum Myra at this wedding (even with her huge wedding dress), with Jennifer revealing that Mercy thinks her mum is a "joke".
"Mercedes is taking the whole day in her stride because she's done this all before – and she knows it feels right this time," Jennifer added.
Let's just hope that Mercedes' 7th wedding is the one that goes off without a hitch, then.
