Hollyoaks is lining up surprise passion for Tom Cunningham and Harley Frater as they betray Peri Lomax next week.
Tom (Ellis Hollins) developed a crush on newcomer Harley last year, although she was quick to rebuff his advances.
Viewers know that Tom's secret feelings are all the more inappropriate given that Harley is in a relationship with his ex-girlfriend Peri – who will grow frustrated by the tension between the pair in upcoming scenes.

Convinced that Harley hates Tom, Peri locks them both in a private room at the school's fundraiser ball, hoping it'll give them the time they need to talk through their problems.
Initially, it seems that Peri's plan has worked a treat as Tom and Harley end up having a heart to heart while locked in together. However, when they later share a kiss, it looks like things could be about to get much more complicated.
