It looks like Hollyoaks’ real-life couple Stephanie Davis and Owen Warner have reached the pranking stage of their relationship, and they’re making sure to give the show that brought them together some love in the process.
Owen, who plays Romeo Quinn in the Channel 4 soap, shared a video on his Instagram Stories yesterday (January 9) that revealed his girlfriend Stephanie, who plays Sinead O’Connor, had targeted him with a prank he didn’t notice until it was entirely too late.
"Right, so have I just driven around with this on the back of my car?" Owen asks while showing off his lovely 'Honk if you love Hollyoaks' sign.
"How have you just allowed me to drive around with that on? Little joker."

Owen may not have sounded entirely too pleased by the whole thing, but Stephanie certainly seemed to find it funny and she even confirmed on her own Instagram later that they did get at least one beep, so it's not all bad.

And, while the actor captioned the video, "Why does she think she's jokes?", it looks like it's not just Stephanie who's got pranking skills, as fellow Hollyoaks star Aedan Duckworth revealed on his own Instagram page that he was also involved in the big prank Owen plot.
Or he was, at least, on hand to document the evidence.
Posting a photo of Stephanie with her handiwork, Aedan wrote that they were "decorating Owen's car" on the Story update, and also added an "unlucky bro" for good measure.
Still, we'd take a sign taped to the back of the car over the time Stephanie accidentally gave both herself and Owen food poisoning.
Earlier this year, Stephanie paid tribute to her boyfriend in an emotional New Year message in which she thanked him for coming into her life.
"Happy New Year, From me and mine to you and yours," she wrote. "This year has taught me so so much, what a year of growth it has been. Thank you to this one for walking into my life so unexpectedly & for showing me what true love really is. I love you Always."
Hollyoaks airs weekdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
