1. David and Josh's final showdown
When David sees Josh hanging around on the cobbles in an upcoming episode, he takes drastic action by bundling him into a car and driving off. Will he take revenge?
2. Sinead's cancer storyline
Sinead will be left devastated in an upcoming storyline, as she's diagnosed with cervical cancer and told that she has to consider terminating her pregnancy. What will she decide to do?
1. Sinead continues to lie to Daniel
Daniel now knows the truth about Sinead's cancer and believes she's undergoing a mild form of chemotherapy. However, upcoming episodes will see Sinead continue to explore alternative remedies and pretend to Daniel that she's still having traditional treatment.
2. Daniel's dark side returns?
Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel, recently warned that his character could head in a dark direction as Sinead's illness takes its toll over the coming months. New Corrie boss Iain MacLeod is thought to have long-term plans for the character.
2. Ken uncovers Sinead's secret
As Sinead suffers in silence, Ken will be one of the first to find out what's going on when he spots her crying at the hospital and gets her to open up. Will he tell Daniel what's going on?
3. DS Mackinnon returns
When Ronan Truman's son Cormac dies of a drug overdose and the Connors are implicated, fearsome DS Mackinnon will be back to investigate. Will she make a mess of this case like she did with the Maria and Caz saga?
3. Tracy and Steve fight for their future
After their disastrous wedding day, Tracy and Steve continue their efforts to make their marriage work for Amy's sake. But are they out of their depth when Amy tricks them into signing a good behaviour contract?
4. Abi banged up
It's official – Abi is heading to jail when she takes the blame for Seb after he trashes the flower shop. Will she cope behind bars, with Sally Metcalfe for company as her cellmate?
5. Seb's custody plans
With Abi determined to put her twins up for adoption, Seb considers putting in his own application for custody. Is he up to the responsibility? And how will he react when he's advised to cut ties with Abi for good to improve his chances?
5. Liz's revenge
Beverley Callard, who plays Liz, has teased in a couple of interviews that her character's revenge will be one to watch out for once the truth about the "Katie con" is exposed. How will she deal with Jim and Hannah?

The truth about Hannah's identity is widely expected to be revealed in October, as Charlie Lawson's guest stint as Jim comes to an end. How will the McDonalds react when the truth comes out?
6. Maria turns against Claudia
After weeks of planning, Maria will start to experience second thoughts over her decision to go into business with Claudia. Pulling out at the last minute, she infuriates Claudia by deciding to go into partnership with Audrey instead.

Earlier this year, the Corrie cast were pictured filming on location for a dramatic car crash storyline due to air in October. It's thought that Ronan will be out for revenge after his son's death, with horrifying consequences for the likes of Michelle, Ryan and Ali in high-stakes scenes.
8. Elsa piles on the pressure
Proving she's not to be messed with, Elsa accuses Nick of defrauding her in order to buy the factory. Does she have him backed into a corner?
9. Mike Thornberry returns

Corrie will reveal whether Sally will be found guilty or not guilty this month. Will Sally manage to win her freedom again, or will she be staying behind bars for a long time?
