Former Emmerdale star Charley Webb has been candid about her potential return to the soap, explaining why her character Debbie Dingle hasn't come back amid Charity Dingle's bombshell baby storyline.
Emmerdale has seen Charity agree to be the surrogate for her granddaughter - aka Debbie's daughter - Sarah Sugden and her husband Jacob. What Sarah and Jacob don't know, however, is that baby Leyla is biologically Charity's daughter with Ross Barton, conceived during a one-night stand.
If you'd think that with such an explosive story, Sarah's mum Debbie would return to the Dales, you'd have to think again.

Appearing on the Live Laugh Luke podcast, Charley Webb, who played Debbie, weighed in on a possible return to the Dales, ruling out an imminent appearance from her character.
"Not at the moment, no," she said of a return. "There's no plans for me to go back just because I think it wouldn't be the right time."

She added: "Having three kids is a lot. Also working there is a lot. So, not at the moment, but never say never."
She also revealed that she'd been asked to return "a few times".
"But again it just wasn't the right time," she said.
"There's quite a big story at the moment with the girl that played my mum having a baby and everyone's like, 'You would be there. You would be there.' And I'm like, 'Well, I'm not right now,'" she said, addressing Charity's baby story.
Meanwhile on the soap, Charity has been going through a horrific ordeal with village villain Dr Caitlin Todd. Todd, who had found out that baby Leyla isn't Sarah and Jacob's daughter, had been blackmailing Charity to keep quiet.
Todd's scheming against the Woolpack landlady saw a harrowing development when the doctor assaulted Charity.
