Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale fans will have noticed that a key character has been missing from the village in recent weeks – with Aaron Dingle currently off our screens. Danny Miller's popular figure hasn't featured on the ITV soap since 29 May, when he was at the centre of a big storyline.
Throughout last month, Aaron and his partner Robert Sugden were baffled by a worrying mystery, as an unknown person targeted their farm with a series of devastating arson attacks.

Viewers have since learned that Cain Dingle's son, Kyle Winchester, was the culprit – and that Graham Foster has been covering for the troubled young boy by concealing the secret. He assured the Dingles that their problems were over, namely by lying that the arsonist was targeting Joe Tate and that they'd already been run out of town.
Despite this, we haven't seen any reaction from Aaron and Robert to find out how they're coping after the series of fires – and whether they buy the explanation that has been given to them by Graham.

Aaron has also been absent from other important storylines for his on-screen family, including his uncle Cain's cancer plot and Sarah Sugden's 21st birthday party.
But if you're wondering where Aaron has gone, there's a very simple explanation… and it involves The Celebrity Apprentice!

Back in April, BBC bosses announced that Danny is taking part in the first full-length celebrity series of The Apprentice alongside 11 other famous faces.
Appearing in the latest episode of his You Don't Know You're Born podcast, Danny announced that he's only just returned from filming The Celebrity Apprentice and has also been on holiday. So it sounds like Aaron could be missing in action for a while yet…
"It was three weeks [of filming] – obviously I am sworn to NDA secrecy," Danny explained. "But let's say I was there for a while and it was hard. It was a really good bunch of people. I turned up on day one... and I thought: 'I don't know if I'm going to click with these 11 other people'.
"There were 12 of us in total, from TikTok content creators, to Jordan Banjo, who I've become really good friends with. To Kay Burley – we had a Twitter spat about 10 years ago, which we ironed out very early.
"On the surface, it seemed like a weird cast. But I got on with everyone really, really well. I had limited contact with [wife] Steph and I was in London for what seemed like forever."

"The boardroom was terrifying. It was on top of this skyscraper where you can see the whole of London. After episode one, I went: 'People are going to love this'. Because there's quite a lot of disagreements and shock in the first ep... There's loads of hooks in there.
"I think people are going to love it, genuinely. It's the first ever full series they've done, so they wanted it to be good. They were learning on the job, as we were. It was quite interesting to do... Apparently it'll either be [released] the back-end of this year or early next year."
There should be plenty of drama ahead for Aaron when he reappears, though, with the unpredictable Kev Townsend returning and a new member of the Sugden family arriving.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
