The schedule will be further disrupted on Wednesday 17 June and Thursday 18 June, due to coverage of the men's 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Tonight's disruptions mean Emmerdale fans will need to wait a little longer to find out what will happen to Dr Todd after Charity Dingle reported her to the police.

For weeks, Dr Todd has been attempting to blackmail Charity into giving her thousands of pounds, threatening to reveal that while Charity was a surrogate for her granddaughter Sarah Sugden, she actually secretly fell pregnant with Ross Barton's baby instead.

Following a confrontation with Dr Todd on the day of Sarah's 21st birthday party, an intoxicated Charity passed out and Dr Todd sexually assaulted her.

In Coronation Street, the investigation into Theo Silverton's death continues, with Summer Spellman being offered a lifeline.

She is currently awaiting trial in prison after being arrested for Theo's murder when the brooch in his flat was found to be hers, among other evidence.

However, last night's episode saw Tyrone Dobbs admit that he had seen Summer on the night of Theo's murder and could prove her innocence, intending to inform the police of what he knew.

The information caused Gary Windass to panic, having been Kit Green's number one suspect in the case for some time, now worrying that attention could turn back to him.

Rape Crisis offers a range of support for women and girls who have experienced sexual abuse of any kind. Its free helpline can be contacted on 0808 802 9999 and the charity has websites available for readers in England & Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
