In tonight's episode, Kim and Lydia jumped to conclusions about Sam's secretive behaviour after seeing him hug Laurel, who has been letting him and Ross practice at her house.
Lydia told Kim that she felt invisible during Sarah's 21st birthday party at The Woolpack, so Kim urged Lydia to talk to Sam.

During a conversation with Lydia, a very inebriated Sam asked what was up with her face. "Maybe it's because I know, Sam," Lydia said.
After a confused Sam asked her what she meant, Lydia said: "About you and Laurel. You're having an affair."
Following her accusation, the whole pub went quiet, with Laurel saying: "Lydia. You can't seriously think that me and Sam are having an affair?"
Sam accused Lydia of going "barmy", and Kim admitted that she was the one who suspected something after learning that Sam had lied about working extra hours and had seen him leaving Laurel's.

Sam finally came clean, admitting to taking dance lessons with Ross, telling Lydia: "I know how upset you were when I didn't make it to that dance class, so I got Ross to teach me t'moves. I was gonna surprise you tomorrow and step in so you didn't have to dance with Bob."
Lydia apologised, but Sam refused to accept it and left the pub, telling her to "stuff it". Later, Kim told Lydia she was sorry, saying that Sam would come round and that he loves her.
Will the two make amends? Or is it all over for Lydia and Sam?
