Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale has confirmed the first suspects in Kim Tate's mysterious poisoning plot. The businesswoman will be rushed to hospital next week after falling ill during a dinner with the Dingles.

While Kim attempts to negotiate peace between the two families, it seems someone is ready to start a war. But which of her many rivals fired the first shot?

Tonight's episode opened with Joe Tate ordering his workers to demolish everything on Butlers Farm, including Holly Barton's burial site - which Kim promised Moira Dingle she would preserve.

Heartbroken Matty Barton discovered his sister's destroyed memorial and the Dingles were quick to wrongly blame Kim, believing it was an act of revenge.

"I can't imagine Kim'd do anything like that," Lydia said, defending her best friend. But Mack Boyd insisted she would have got someone else to do her dirty work for her.

"We all know what that meant to Moira, Kim's just declared war," announced Chas.

Later, a shocked Kim proclaimed her innocence to Lydia and Matty, but the latter wasn't convinced. They warned Kim that the family wouldn't rest until they found the culprit.

Meanwhile, Joe feigned a lack of knowledge about the demolition, but both Graham Foster and Ross Barton realised he was responsible. The Dingles wasted no time confronting the shady character but luckily for Joe, Graham blamed the workmen and vowed to put things right.

When the Dingles refused to let things go, Joe revealed that Lydia was set to inherit Home Farm. The family then decided to invite Kim to dinner at Wishing Well Cottage to smooth things over.

Later, disgruntled Chas complained about making peace with the Tates, but Caleb explained that Lydia could sell Home Farm and split the money between them all.

When Chas pointed out that Kim might change her will again before she dies, Caleb suggested she might have "a little accident first". The pair then assured Cain they were "just messing", but will they put their plan into action?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX and YouTube.
