Show bosses have teased that Mack could still face a tragic fate, as he's now at John's mercy while being held captive in an abandoned bunker.
Although John is reluctant to cross the line into cold-blooded murder, he's also aware that Mack would expose all of his dark secrets if he ever let him go.
"There's a lot of drama still to come. He's definitely not out of the woods," Lawrence continued.
"To be honest, I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out. Because shooting it with Ollie [Farnworth, who plays John]… Ollie's amazing and it's great, but it's a long time to be in that bunker!"

Discussing when he first started the role of Mack, he said: "As far as filming, it was five years ago today.
"I can't even tell you how many times he's been hospitalised [since then]. He's been hit by a car once or twice, I can't remember!"
