Kim Tate's cash will be at stake on Emmerdale as Dr Crowley's sinister plot begins to take shape.
It was revealed last week that 'Eddie', the mysterious man that Kim developed a romantic connection with, was in fact the villainous doctor, who earlier this year collaborated with Joe Tate in a series of crimes.
Despite helping Joe steal Caleb Miligan's kidney, the tables were turned as Crowley kidnapped and sedated his former accomplice, telling him that he needed money after his career had been ruined.
Monday's (14 July) instalment began with Kim and Crowley exchanging pleasantries in the morning, with Kim still unaware that her new partner harboured several secrets. She was soon called away to work, leaving the doctor to enact the next stage of his plan.

Joe, meanwhile, attempted to warn Kim off from 'Eddie', though she was resolute in developing a future with him. Assuming that Joe was only thinking of his potential inheritance, Kim told him that she didn't need his "permission" to begin a relationship.
Seeing that Kim wouldn't budge, Joe took matters into his own hands as he held Crowley at gunpoint, though the villain was unfazed as he told Joe that he "wasn't a killer". As Joe lowered his weapon, the doctor snarled that he was "all bark, no bite".

Joe pleaded with Crowley to leave his family alone, though the doctor reminded him that all "actions have consequences". With Joe asking how he could possibly steal from Kim without her noticing, Crowley threatened that Dawn and her children could be collateral damage.
After Joe displayed his frazzled state of mind in front of Dawn, he soon discussed a business proposition with Kim. Crowley later urged him to get to work in securing the money, menacingly teasing that he could "get used" to a life with Kim…
