Emmerdale star Amelia Flanagan has shared her thanks to fans following her character April Windsor's big scenes on the soap recently.
April has played an integral role in the ongoing tragic car crash storyline after Heath Hope was killed on New Year's Eve while joyriding with Angelica King and sister Cathy.
Amid the uncertainty over whether Angel or Cathy was driving – with both accusing the other – the latest turn of events last night (January 3) saw April give a statement to the police.

Having refused to get in the car with the other teens, April told officers that she saw Cathy in the driver's seat when they left the village.

Following the scenes, Amelia has taken to her Instagram Stories to share a note to fellow colleagues on Emmerdale and fans, thanking them for their support.
"Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone for all their support, love and kindness on the episodes recently, but especially tonight's episode," the actress wrote.

"I have loved the last few months of filming and feel so lucky to have been surrounded by the most supportive cast and crew whilst on this surreal journey of doing what I love.
"Most importantly thank you to all the fans and every single person who supports me. Appreciate you all so much," Amelia added.
Since the shocking death scenes, April has been grieving for her close friend Heath.
