Emmerdale has revealed a huge twist over who caused Heath Hope's death.
The teenager was tragically killed on New Year's Day (January 1) when the car he was joyriding in with girlfriend Angelica King and sister Cathy Hope crashed.
There had been intimations that Cathy was behind the wheel at the time of the crash, though Tuesday's (January 2) episode muddied the waters on that since viewers hadn't actually seen the crash take place.
Bob believed Cathy was responsible for Heath's death as well, as he confided in Wendy that his son was "dead because of his sister".
Brenda Walker and Eric Pollard had taken Cathy home with them so she could speak with police. Shortly thereafter, police turned up at Victoria Cottage to arrest Angelica for death by dangerous driving.

It turns out that Cathy had told police that Angelica was the one behind the wheel when Heath was killed.
"I know what everybody thinks, you all blame me, but I didn't lose control of the car," Cathy told the detective. "I wasn't even driving when it crashed!"
She then claimed: "Angelica was the one that was driving. She crashed the car! Heath's dead because of her, not me."
In another room at the police station, Angelica insisted she hadn't been the one driving when told about Cathy's allegation.

Asked if Cathy was the driver, Angelica simply answered: "Yeah."
Back home at Wishing Well, Cathy broke down as she admitted to Brenda she didn't know what she'd do without Heath. Is Cathy telling the truth?
