Emmerdale star Lisa Riley has shared a loved-up picture with her partner Al while on holiday together.

The pair, who have been together for nearly a decade, have been taking a break together in Europe – and as their trip drew to a close, the actress shared a sweet selfie with her other half with the Alps behind them.

"Last day of our incredible holiday!!!" she captioned posts shared on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.

Lisa and Al have been engaged since 2018, though the Emmerdale star explained last year that they won't be tying the knot, a decision that was influenced by the death of their respective mothers.

"We don't want to change anything," she told The Mirror. "Both of us talk about it all the time and feel as long as we're happy we don't need rings on our fingers.

"We've lost both our mums. And when it comes to things like weddings, you do it for the other people. I'm never going to change my name, so really, what would be different? And I wouldn't be able to wear a wedding band very much because I've always got Mandy's jewellery on.

"Plus, I've always said I'm not the kind of girl who wants a big flouncy day with a horse and carriage."

Lisa also opened up about her relationship with Al earlier this year, reflecting on how he helps to ground her as she told White Wine Question Time: "I'm, you know, a Catherine wheel, and that's what works and that's what I needed."

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
