Emmerdale's Mackenzie Boyd is thwarted as he tries to end his relationship with Chloe Harris next week.
Mack plans to dump Chloe so that he can reunite with Charity Dingle, but a worrying health scare threatens to change everything.
As next week's episodes begin, heartbroken Mack and Charity struggle with having to be apart.
Wanting an escape from the upsetting situation, Charity decides to visit her daughter Debbie in Scotland for a while.

Mack is unhappy when he finds out about Charity's plans to leave. He takes matters into his own hands by lying down in front of Charity's car and begging her to stay.
This big gesture pays off when Mack and Charity confess their love for each other. Mack suggests they should get back together and he'll face the music by ending things with Chloe for good.
Charity takes some time to think about it, but accepts Mack's offer the following day.
Aware that he now needs to break Chloe's heart, Mack tries to speak to her. However, his attempt is interrupted when Chloe collapses and falls unconscious in the kitchen.

Charity can't believe what she's seeing when she spots Mack accompanying Chloe to the hospital in the ambulance.
