Emmerdale's Charles Anderson has finally confessed his shameful secret to his mum Claudette.
The troubled vicar came clean in Friday's episode after weeks of struggling with his guilt.
Last month, Charles was rocked by the death of his father Victor. He later confided in his partner Manpreet Sharma about how he'd successfully framed Victor for theft before he died.
Friday's visit to the village opened with Manpreet continuing to worry about Charles following his violent altercation with Tom King at The Woolpack.

Charles had gone AWOL in the fallout from the clash, spending another night away from home. He ultimately returned in the back of a police car, having landed himself in trouble for drunkenly shouting at cars on the road the night before.
Although Charles was let off with a warning, he realised that his guilt was eating him up and it was time to take the honest approach with Claudette.
Charles set the record straight with Claudette, confirming that he made Victor look like a thief by planting Manpreet's missing necklace on him.
The revelation left Claudette livid as she reflected on how she was manipulated into being on bad terms with Victor before he died.

Claudette reminded Charles: "You let me carry on believing he was evil. I wasn't even going to go to the funeral.
"You were always accusing Victor of bringing shame to the family. But you're the shameful one – to betray your own father. You – a man of the cloth. You don't deserve forgiveness."
In a heated moment, Claudette ripped out Charles' dog collar and vowed to attend Victor's funeral alone. Can she ever forgive Charles for what he did?
