Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Chas Dingle is targeted by dangerous gangster Harry in next week's episodes.

Chas is oblivious to Harry's true identity as he starts flirting with her during a visit to the village.

Last month, viewers saw Harry and a group of heavies brutally beat up Chas' brother Caleb Miligan. They clashed after Caleb tried to stamp out Harry's illegal activity at the chauffeur company.

Next week, Harry introduces himself to Chas as 'Simon' and buys her a drink. This comes as Chas is feeling vulnerable over the anniversary of her daughter Grace's death – as well as her struggle seeing her ex-husband Paddy moving on with his life.

The pair both bond over their late children, but Chas eventually decides that bringing Harry home was a mistake. He insists that it's no problem and agrees to sleep on the sofa.

When Chas heads upstairs, Harry searches the back room of The Woolpack, looking coldly at a photo of Chas and Caleb.

The next morning, Harry leaves The Woolpack and is caught by Paddy, who is unimpressed to see a stranger spending time with Chas. Chas firmly refuses to discuss her visitor with Paddy.
