Kim Tate has received an alarming warning over her fight to keep ex-husband Frank's money.

Last week, Kim received an anonymous legal letter informing her that the late Frank's "illegitimate son" is making a claim on his father's estate.

Kim has no idea that this mysterious heir is her new business partner Caleb Miligan, who is running a scam with his own son Nicky to take down Kim.

Kim and Will arrived back at Home Farm from touring their new stud farm and were still discussing the "facelessness" of this claim on behalf of the mystery son.

Will predicted the claim will be dropped, if not simply because Kim would have been "smart enough" to cover her tracks when she took stole money from Frank's estate.

The two had no idea Caleb was in the next room listening in, and he made no secret of the fact that he'd heard them. When Caleb complained about Kim "hiding money in Tate business", Will admitted their new partner "had a right to know" what was going on.

Caleb continued to feign concern, even insisting he'd have to reevaluate their stud farm deal because a financial scandal could ruin them both.

Kim continued to fall into Caleb's trap by offering to transfer money directly to him so the stud farm purchase could be entirely in his name. Caleb agreed, barely hiding his glee.

In the final scene of the episode, Kim paid a visit to her ex-husband's graveside, where she was shocked to see someone had left a white rose in Frank's memory.

After a few seconds of alarm, she picked up the rose and quipped: "How very poetic."

Kim snapped the bloom off the rose, then spoke directly to her late husband's gravestone.
