Emmerdale's Chloe makes exit plan after Mackenzie twist

Emmerdale's Chloe Harris makes plans to leave the village next week after being rejected by Mackenzie Boyd.

Chloe was recently revealed as the mystery woman who slept with Mackenzie in August. Viewers also know that Chloe is pregnant, but she hasn't shared this secret with Mack so far.

In next week's episodes, Chloe feels alone and isolated as Mack still wants nothing to do with her.

When Mack sees Chloe talking to his partner Charity Dingle at The Woolpack, he can't help fearing that she could destroy his happiness by exposing the truth.

Emma Atkins, who plays Charity, recently spoke about how her character might react if she ever discovers the truth about Mack's betrayal.

She said: "I think in some ways, Charity is well aware that her own world isn't black and white.

"In the past, she's done the same to Vanessa with Mackenzie. So, you know, they're both aware of how fallible they are, and how it's in them to have that mischief quality. But with this, it might be more shocking perhaps, because it was all about the fact that they had this happy accident [the pregnancy] and it went wrong.

"It knitted them together in some ways, so I think for Charity to find out would probably be quite shocking, but she's no fool. She's cheated on people in the past before. So it's kind of her territory.

"But this is the double standards part of my character, which I can't defend. When it's happening to her she reacts very differently!"
