Emmerdale's Amelia Spencer accidentally puts Gabby Thomas's baby son in danger next week.
Amelia has recently been taking a dangerous weight gain syrup as she tries to change her appearance, but she seems to have been suffering some worrying side effects. One episode last month saw Amelia collapse in front of the other teens, but she brushed off their concerns.
In next week's episodes, Amelia's issues continue as her vision becomes blurred while she's visiting Noah Dingle in prison.

Amelia tries her best to ignore the warning signs and agrees to babysit for Gabby again.

Unfortunately, Amelia's dizziness and nausea gets worse. This comes to a head when Amelia faints and drops baby Thomas.
Amelia comes round again just as Harriet Finch arrives at Home Farm for a visit.
Amelia immediately covers her tracks, lying that Thomas fell from his high chair. Harriet springs into action by getting Thomas to hospital.

Later, Dawn Fletcher's son Lucas – who witnessed the incident – reveals that Amelia fell while holding Thomas.
Kim Tate immediately rebukes Amelia for lying, while everyone else starts bombarding her with questions about what could have caused the blackout.
Amelia comes clean with her father Dan about the weight gain syrup and how she bought it online. She agrees that it's for the best for her to get checked out at the hospital.

Dan is left tearful after his heart-to-heart with Amelia, while Gabby is horrified when social services need to speak to her about Thomas's fall.
