Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Faith Dingle – and viewers – can breathe a sigh of relief tonight (August 3) as her test results came back in and confirmed that she doesn't have cancer.
Although Faith received the all-clear from cancer in Tuesday's episode, she's not completely out of the woods, as she discovered that she does have rheumatoid arthritis, a condition that causes painful swelling that can lead to long-term damage to the joints, and can also cause tiredness.

Still, the news came as a huge relief for Faith and she quickly told Chas the good news, prompting the mother and daughter duo to share an emotional moment together as Faith admitted that she was ready for the worst.
"I must be halfway through my ninth life by now, but by heck, am I gonna make the most of it!" Faith said, telling Chas to let her look after her daughter for once.

"I love you, mum," Chas said. "You're not so bad yourself," Faith replied.

Although Faith also wanted to share her good news with Cain and Sarah as soon as possible, she ultimately decided against it after hearing that Cain had agreed to take them for a family day out at The Hop (as part of Sarah's plan to get them talking again).
